1996 Electra glideaxle size

Is there some sort of chart or page with axle sizes. I wanna change my front wheel but the axle sizes seem to be all over the place?

Axle diameter for the '96 Electra Glide is .75 (3/4 inch)

later 1" axle wheels can be used- you just use the 3/4" i.d. bearings

that expands your options

or you can change the lower legs if you what to move up from the single piston brake calipers- later brakes are quite a bit better.
and those lower legs will likely use a 1" axle

I seem to recall that somebody on this forum put together a chart on axle and bearing sizes a while back. Might be something worth researching.

You're options are endless. I have a late model wheel on my 3/4" axle. You're really only limited by the ingenuity of the folks putting on the wheels.
