Intermittantly the radio cuts out when braking or turning on the turn signals, I also have a 95 tour glide ultra with the same issue. did anyone else have this issue ?
I do know that my 95 EGC had charging/electrical issues. It had a two phase alternator that complained when too much load was put on it. I finally spent big bucks and went to a three phase alternator and voltage regulator. Problem solved.

That suggests an electrical fault that involves your brake switches or wiring. You could experiment by disconnecting your brake switch wiring, one at a time, to see if the problem goes away. Have you worked on the bike recently, such as installed new bars, removed the handlebar switches for any reason?
just bought the bike about 2 months ago, the 95 electraglide. the 95 tourglide I have had for 7 years. Both have the same issue. It is only intermitant so It is hard to find dealer said most likely wiring issue.
It's unlikely to be exactly the same cause on both bikes, you're dealing with a coincidence IMHO. Concentrate on sorting out one bike, then see if that helps you sort the other one.
I had a bike many years ago on which the engine would cut out sometimes when turning on the flashers while riding. It took an electrics expert friend of mine several hours to find the problem, as when stationary the defective connector gave almost normal readings. Dead easy to sort out once found!
So let's take another look at this! Find yourself a quiet road where you can make a few tests, without risk of getting mown down by other traffic. You only have two brake light switches and two sets of direction lights. So with your radio on try just one brake at a time, without operating the other brake, to see what happens. Then while not braking, try one indicator at a time. Note which, if any, of those four cuts the radio. Let us know what you find!
