Random diagnostic code help!

Random diagnostic code help!
Hi everyone! New member here and desperately seeking help that no one can seem to tell me anything about!
I'm riding a 2010 Street Glide that has a full set of Dakota Digital gauges which is getting a weird code that neither my local dealer or Dakota Digital can find any info on... I was riding back from the mountains Sunday and I had been on the bike about 3.5 hours and was about a mile from the house when underneath the tachometer started showing "Bus E1" then a couple seconds later it said "Bus E5" then it went away. This morning I pulled the bike out to wash and when I was letting it run afterward it showed "Bus E0" again and the tachometer was stuck at 1000. I rode it around the hood a bit and it stayed at "Bus E0" that time.
I put it back in the garage and pulled the main fuse and disconnected the battery to try and clear it and see if it happened again. When I turned the bike back on it immediately went to "Bus E-" and the tachometer stays at 000 even when running.
I've checked the diagnostic codes and also have an ABS light on. I've got codes U1097 and C1021 showing up, but my speedometer still works so the U1097 doesn't make sense.
Someone please help me make sense of all of this! Thank you!
