Heat and Radio issues

I installed hog tunes,amp and speakers on my 15 limited...Everything good until the heat kicked in...I noticed The radio would cut out on a hot day.. all controls work just no audio. Turn radio off and everything is good. Other then on very hot day on a very slow ride. Hog Tunes work great
Any Ideas?? Hog Tunes>>> is it a safety thing for the Amp???

I had the same problem on mine. I set the auto volume control to 2 bars,instead of 3 like they recommend-no more problem.

Iv'e had hog tune set-up for a few years, never had that issue, Did you contact Hog tunes ?

Do you mean the avc. I have mine on 4 bars and it sounds better that way

called from Scott, waiting on another episode.. ID tag says older amp with lower thermal resistance......if true he will swap it out good customer service
