Add one more voice for Fox Creek. Bought one from them after reading the rave reviews on this board. It's everything they said it would be and more. Heavy, beautiful, great construction. It was too big, I thought but I wasn't sure, so they sent me another one a size smaller and let me look at them both, sending back the one I didn't want. GREAT people to deal with. Bought a buffalo nickel vest I was so impressed with the jacket. Made in America and all metal hardware. They've got my leather business from now on.
Another vote for Fox Creek here also. Bought one last year for myself and just ordered one for the wife. I also ordered a vest for myself while I was at it. I think thatMOST of the HD jackets are made in China.
I've been wearing the same American-made"Branded Leather" jacket for 16 years and it still has plenty of life left but it finally got too tight on me. I just ordered a new one from Fox Creek and, yes, they're made in the USA. Other American-made jackets are Bates, Schott, Classic Jackets, and Brooks.
Here is a website that sells only American-madebrands of leather gear.
My wife bought me the HD Willey G leather jacket for my 50th birthday. All I can say it is the best fitting, comfortable and well made leather jacket I have ever had.
If you can fit off the rack - Fox Creek makes nice leathers - I did buy their two tone vest and I really do like it and the price was nice - I can NOT find anything off the rack that will fit me short damn arms - for me Johnsons Leathers are made right there in the store and made to fit ME....
As you see - we all have our favoites and CUSTOMER service ranks right up there with Quality...
