Most likely there is a little too much oil down in the crankcase. Take some of it, a cup or so, out and go ride it again.
Right, use a turkey baster to do this.
When I change oil I only ever change it out with 3 qts as the crank case usually holds at least a 1/2 qt. Never 4 as this would over filling it and that is worse than under filling it.
So at 3 qts you are right on the half way mark of the dip stick.
After that check it every 2 or 3 rides as sometimes you will use a bit of oil here and there.
Lowering the oil level doesn't always work. That's because the vapors coming from the heads via the breathers contain a mixture of oil mist, gasoline vapor, water vapor, and an assortment of gasses from combustion. Once in the air cleaner they cool condense and eventually drip. As was said previously the most popular way to fix the problem is to install a device that bypasses the A/C and routes the stuff away from the intake.
