Thanks to everyone for all the input.
Bro, they are not doing you a favor and don't care if you are happy. Though, they would like you to think that they do. What they really want is money. Dealers sell financing to banks and they make a lot of money on financing and financed deals. They much rather finance your bike than get paid cash. Of course they will arrange the finance, they get commission on that (a lot of it too).

Just FYI, not being critical or insulting - I know I may sound like I was. Totally not intended.

Well good for you, you are lucky. So you loose a bit of money on the bike, but you have a great wife which is worth a million, so you're in the black big time.

Understood - I know they were trying to make money. But, they were also being fairly accommodating with some of my asks.

That's a good one Mike. I AM on number 4. I asked her before I bought my first Harley this past spring if she would ride with me. She said no way. No problem. Got an Iron and put on every mod imaginable, except a rear pillion and passenger pegs. I call it the wife-proof bike. She has a horse, and a Mini Cooper convertible. Those are her rides. I don't go near either. I totally enjoy the me time on my new hobby. Getting out on my bike alone. There's nothing like it. I wish I had done this a long time ago. Don't get me wrong. I love #4. However, having some space and doing something just for yourself is a good thing IMO.

We bought a 17 Ultra Limited. My wife almost always rides with me. Is your wife comfortable while riding? My wife was complaining about her knees hurting. Just lowering the passenger floor boards to the lowest level took care of that. We also added a sheepskin seat cover that helped manage the heat and sliding around. I installed arm rests to give her a place to rest her arms. I also installed the in-helmet Sena 20s bluetooth headsets so that we can talk and she can control the volume independently from me. My goal is to keep her comfortable and riding.

I love riding the bike so much, if she ever decided to stop riding with me, I don't think I could get rid of it. I do like the looks of the limited without the tour pack so I could go that route. Hopefully you find a good solution to your predicament.

Roger that buddy. Everyone benefits when the players like ecah other - every time. If you do end-up bringing them a qualified buyer they can sign, maybe there's something in it for you (or else your buyer can go to any lender). Perhaps a helmet, leather, jacket, set of plugs... lol.
