Been Riding Since 1970, my Wife was my passenger befor we
got married, we did a lot of miles riding 2up over 46 years now.
She had a knee operation, and needs the other one worked on.
She will not ride anymore, like the OP, I wish she could riding 2up
with me. I understand she will not, so I ride solo now, and miss
her on the back seat. I though the 14 Street Glide was my last
Bike, like the OP I loved my old LowRider. I'm eyeing a 2018 now,
and I still like the LowRider.

Get rid of the ultra, 'cause you will have no more use for it. Take the hit. Move on and enjoy riding without your wife. She will enjoy driving her car.

 

Yep, where I am heading most likely. I will see if I can sell it privately, if not I will see what the dealership can do.

 

I've been riding since I wa 14 now I'm 58 and on my third wife she liked to ride when we first met now that we've been married 5 years she hasn't been on the bike in two years so I ride solo and been thinking lately maybe it's time for number 4

There are few things in life that you do not do with your wife. Golf, Bike riding, Vegas etc.

 

Just met with my dealer - they were very helpful. Came up with something if I decide to trade (not great, but also not horrible). They also told me they could finance for someone if I sell privately. Really great bunch of guys who were understanding and just want me to be happy.

My Son sold a 2012 Road Glide Ultra with Rider to Rider Financing from Harley.

Where is your LowRider S ?

Lowrider S is staying with me in CT. Ultra either going to the dealer in NY or finding a new home. We will see.
