I went for the blacked out look... And a custom rear fender. I'm definitely partial to the blacked out bikes. But I also dig the chrome on a nice color.

I like a balanced mix of chrome & black: Not a majority of one or the other. I have a 2017 Road glide special. stock, too much chrome on it for me. I'll be replacing some parts with black parts. Ordered the dash console in gloss black. Removable Tour pack will have a black luggage rack and lower rack mount. May do hinge & latch in black also. Crash bar black w/chrome highway pegs and chrome upper mount brackets to faring. Black & chrome mirrors & rear tail light assy. Front blinkers black. Some parts plasti-dip sprayed so it can be peeled off to change back with no harm. Also, I'll keep the pull off parts so I can convert back as-when needed...

Blackout on a Black Bike is a great look, but some colors just look better with chrome.

I don't care for the 'Blacked out' look.

If I was going for an '18 Touring, I'd go plain model with the 6.5 and the security.
You can buy a better suspension always.............

I think the blacked out look with a little bit of chrome is bad ***! I have both and I get way more compliments and attention from the blacked out bike than my chrome bike.
