Default weather band alert
Can anyone tell me how to get the weather alert to work on the Ultra Radio? I have an 07 and see it on the list of options but it has never gone off when one was issued.

Turn on the radio/cd. Then switch on the wb, press alert button, Press the right mode change switchy thing back to radio or cd and you are good to go....

I just checked on my 07 street glide and while in weather band I do not have an "Alert" on the screen like is shown in the manual

My 06 has the alert mode. Page 102 in the owners manual.

When you turn the radio to the weather band, you should have the word "alert" at the #1 softkey location.
Pressing the #1 softkey activates or deactivates it by highlighting it.

I don't see any 'Alert' on the WB. Is it just me? I have the latest update, 8.19. I thought I read somewhere, probably on this forum, that 8.19 did away with the 'Alert' feature. Anyone else read this? Can someone with 8.19 verify this for me so I know that I'm not wacko?

same here, my radio with 8.19 does not have the "alert" in the #1 soft key position
