I agree wholeheartedly.
The RK and the StreetBob ought to last a while.
Who knows, by then I may not feel like riding..... yeah, right.

I wish they would come out with that big engine, even if it must be water cooled. I want more cubic inches in my bike.A124 would be nice or at least a 113. I have an 06 tc88 and I love the bike but I sure do feel like HD is lagging behind in the engine size department.

Think about it. The V-Rod is a nice motorcycle but power delivery is above 5000 rpm. Engine modification will only enhance power at or above this range. This engine would not be suitable for a heavy bagger. I am sure we will see a water cooled bagger in the future but don't be suprised if it is different from a current V-Rod configuration. I am a dealer and know plenty in the know, I can tell you that each of these people have a signed contract to maintain company secrecy. These people can be terminated for releasing future company info. I myself haven't any info on forecoming models. Only rumors. July 9th I will post some news.

I've decided to hold off on my Road Glide purchase until the '08's are announced. IF there happens to be a Revo engined RG then I'd fer sure be interested. I've never had a water cooled bike but maybe it's time.

If you think back to this time last year. The only rumor "I" remember coming true was larger rear tire on the Fatboy. Many guessed ( & correctly I might add ) at 6 speed for big twin, & fuel injection for sporty. The 6 wasn't an un-educated guess because of the 06 Dyna's. The FI Sporty was also an educated guess because it has been guessed that it was coming "this Year" since it first showed up on the big twin. But again thesewere only guesses. I dont recall anyone guessinglargerdisplacement as stock. I could be wrong but dont recall seeing that. So the way I see it it is all a very well kept seceret untill the dealers meeting. The neat thing to me was last year the meeting was in the morning, & trucks with new 07 models rolled into many dealerships in the afternoon. So the dealer reps @ the meeting called home to tell the dealers what was new & getting the response of "No Duh, we just opened a couple of crates & found that out".
My guess is the revolution powered bagger & I'll keep guessing it till it happens. And I'll shake my head each year it doesn't. But till the dealers meeting it is just a guess. I couldn't beleave it took as long as it did to come out with the V-Rod. I was ready & waiting for it in 1991.

Revolution baggers are here now, a aftermarket co. has been building on a road glide theme for awhile. My dealer has a brand new one and its been sitting in the showroom for near 6 months. So I bet if they build one it will be a dog of a seller.

As far as I know, HD still has the tours at the York plant.
Can't believe people missed seeing the 96 engine last year and the six speed trannies. LAST YEAR AT THIS TIME THEY HAD PRODUCED SOME 12,000 2007 FOR DEALER INTRO.
WHAT GIVES?

I have been told that the tour is very restrictive when new bikes are on the lines.

Far as I can remember the moco has been very tight lipped regarding new model year specs. I recall right before the 06 models came out some one from the moco leaked out that a rear wider tire would debut in 06. That person from what I heard was fired.

I will say though that last year while I was bouncing around shopping for my 07 one dealer did tell me that a bigger engine wascoming. This must have been around June. I remember the day I was there the manager of that dealership had just received a faxed copy of which models he was getting and what colors. The sales person told me that the engine was going to be bigger. So the dealers do know before the July show but they are very tight lip about it.
