Does anybody have these on there touring bikes? If so how do you like them? Are these comparable to the Vance and Hines true duals. Also I really like the slash up slip on in 4" .
Yeah, I've got them on my Road Glide Special. I got the bike with them installed so I can't tell you if there was a performance upgrade or not.
On my last touring bike, 2011RGU, I had the V&H power duals. I can tell you they were a significant boost in low end torque and the sound was deep but not exceedingly loud.
The RCs are also deep toned and seem to get louder the longer I run them. I like them. You like to know how they sound without the cat...
Same as above. Put them on my 17 RGS along with slips, all in black. Had their Excalibur slips on another bike and loved them. Got them because of the performance.
I have the RC Slip Ons via V/H Power Duals (No cat) and love 'em. Been running this setup since '11 and they are great.
I have not seen RCXhaust Headers, however.
I bought these for my 2011 ultra in may of last year and love them. The sound is great and this may I'm having the RC ceramic coated header true duals put on along with the thundermax tuner and GLS ultimate intake. I have heard the sound on a video and it sounds deeper then mine and I'm really hoping for that and some potential power gains.
Anyone have any experience with the whole system?
I have the RCexhaust system on mine with the ceramic coated true duals and 4" slip ons. Also have the ThunderMax tuner and couldn't be happier with the performance of the bike. They were installed by Cycle Solutions in Myrtle Beach, highly recommend!!
Thanks chuck that's actually who I'm taking mine too as well in may. I have seen alot of reviews on this stuff and am really looking forward to having it installed. Chris will definitely be seeing me every show for awhile.
