Half the bikes I see on E bay never reach the reserve. Strange that someone would pay more than 07 price for an 04 bike especially since the 07s are being discounted 2k+ by larger dealers with many in stock. No one speaks of the cost of ownership for the time period ( net cost, optional equipment, repairs, interest, ect,). I never have come out very well no matter what the brand. More like owning a boat !
Glad to hear you got your trade, and that tax savings on the new bike will always put 6-700 in your jeans too. Enjoy the FLHX, cause they are the shiznit! (o.k. i'm a little biased) Hope you got a black one?
What year was the Heritage? I still have some of the extras that I didn't sell with the bike. I kept the windshield for my son in laws bike, he's got one of those Yamahogs. The dimensions are the same as the Deuce.
$14K as a trade in - Only if they jack the price of the New One by $3K
@ KBB.com -$11,065.00
@ NADA - $10,925.00
Bling-Bling *(Chrome is worth ZERO $$$ on a trade)
SELL IT OUT-RIGHT....
I got 13700 for it and bought the EG Classic for 18095 and 400 freight. No assembly. Payed cash for the bike (actually certified check). Also squeaked out with a 200 gift card. They are dealing right now in my area. Mine was an 05 Heritage.
I was at the stealer yesterday trying to trade my 2001 dyna on a 07 EG std. All they would give me was NADA Low price for it. So I'm still riding it. Maybe I'll find a good buy this winter when the snows falling. Hate to think about that now, Almost to hot to ride around here, But not quite. Ride safe. Peace
