IMO the Freewire was a great product and I had considered going that route - until the WHIM was released. Unless you already have BT headsets you are happy with, there really is no comparison. The prices estimated in most of the replies were full retail with a dealer install. I paid 244 for the WHIM, 40 for the cable and 244 for the HD20S = $528 with a free dealer flash. It would be $772 with 2 HD20s. I installed it myself in 35-45 minutes without the bulk/weight of 2 freewires and figuring out where to install/power them. I sure don't want them hanging somewhere visible with wires going every direction. The whole idea was to go WIRELESS.

Spend your money however you like and be happy.
True, but this is the most important part of your post:

And that's why so many of us are so pissed off. We're the ones that have been using Bluetooth headsets for years, because that has become the current technology. We are the ones that have been begging the MoCo to finally join the current century, and do what they should have done in the first place, and allow us to pair our Bluetooth headsets to the Infotainment system.
Then, when they finally do allow us to pair with the Infotainment system, it's "Oh, wait, you don't have Harley headsets? Eff you."

See ya.
Agreed, and you can count me in the group of pissed off owners, but I am glad they FINALLY have something that works even if they should have included it in the original Rushmores.
I just bought and installed the whim and harley headsets. Should I use the bike intercom or go headset to headset directly?Anyone have experience with this? Thanks

Tried it both ways, seemed to work best using the bike intercom for us. WHIM using Sena S20. Worked pretty much the same using our older Cardo Q3's also.
Going thru this myself, just added the WHIM and Sirius to my 18 TriGlide, had the Sena 10 which won't allow voice commands (or at least we were not able to get it to work) looked at the H-D 20s and Sena 20 s and or EVO, Found the Sena 30 k to have a little more functionality with the MESH system, probably won't use the feature but, I went with it anyway, I'll post up once I have a chance to put it into use.
Forgot to add cost: $980.00 for combination WHIM and Sirius installed at Dealership
$600.00 for Dual Sena 30 k
This might be the most expensive path and undesirable for some.

Darn good question never tried it. Give me some time I will give it a try. I have also questioned if WHIM will pair with my hearing aids the will blue tooth to other devices.
