Even as-is I'm stoked, once I get it all dialed in it's going to be the kickass last piece that it needed badly.
I'm happy with, nay LOVE, my Street Glide. But, if I were to do it over, I'd go this route. It looks perfect!

Weird, I see the pics on my phone now. Man, that thing looks great. I really thought I would just do the Rod Warrior fairing, but this thing is something.

Got my 124” back from the dyno and it made 146tq/151hp which was much higher than I thought it would with stock heads. Maybe a happy dyno, but it runs great either way. Not really concerned with numbers anyway.

i just hope the belt and transmission stay in one piece lol.

I'll be over here telling myself that my 114 is enough...lol. That sounds like fun.

Haha, my last one was just a stock 107 with a cam, that was fun too. I'm more into making it handle but the previous owner did the motor so I aint mad lol.

Has anyone installed a softail slim fender on their 14 and up bagger? Looks pretty straight forward, but some seem to sit much higher than others. Is it just the different brackets?

Since my ridiculously fun 15 street glide decided to **** the crank, I decided to sell it as a roller and buy an m8 road glide for something different as I believe the street glide may have been cursed (first bike I’d wrecked on pavement in 25 years).

Bought this 17 rock stock except for a bunch of custom dynamics lights. Then as usual I went a little wild in the first 30 days.

For suspension and brakes I did
EBC HH pads all the way around with PM rotors.
13” Bitubo shocks from DK
Progressive FST mono tubes up front (probably gonna try geezer next, or bitubo from Italy)

Power/engine
DK air cleaner with external breathers
S&S diamondback shorty
S&S 475c cam
Harley 8 lobe oil pump while I was in there.
A1 cycles vented dipstick
Power vision with TT

Comfort and looks
Saddlemen step up when solo, CCR gel cvo knock off when the lady is with me
literally the entire crossthread cycles catalog, boards, pegs, brake arm, shifter, levers, gas cap, so on
LA Chopper Kage Fighter 14” bars
Slyfox carbon front fender, horn cover, (side covers eventually when they come back in stock)
Carbon dash
Swapped out the front end and a lot of other parts for gloss black (more as I find them)
Prodigy front wheel (rear when I find one).

She’s not close to done, I’ll probably to a 124 and throttle body in February (our only non riding months where I live lol) and the suspension will get more experimentation but over all, I freakin love this bike.

I've done it on mine. It's about as straightforward as it gets.
