Hey guys. Getting ready to put in an order for an HPI pipe. Almost time to put the bike away so I plan on ordering everything(new pipe, cam, etc) and installing over the winter. I upgraded the suspension earlier this year. Pro-action front and rear. 13” shocks in the rear (2017 rks). With the mufflers that are in it now, I had to put some spacers in to get the exhaust to clear.
My question is, with this full length HPI pipe, am I going to need the spacers for that as well? Is there another option aside from denting the pipe more. I am not interested in doing that to this piece. I did see I could use a different swing arm, but I was hoping for an easier solution.

13" should be able to clear, but will be tight. Depends on the size of the muffler. I had 4" that cleared well, but the 4 1/5" barely fit. They fit, but at some point, the axle touched the pipe. I couldn't see it until I pulled the bag off for washing. No damage other than the finish.
So, not knowing everything about the HPI OD, the best you can hope for is to try it and hope it fits. I went with a short pipe because it made getting to the rear so much easier.

Thanks man. Appreciate the info. I do love the short pipe, but the lady won’t. So that’s out. Will see if I can get a measurement of the OD on that pipe then.
Post up your preformance baggers. Here are 2 sweet ones.
road glide :
Raised suspension
remote resovor rear shocks
Upgraded inverted forks
Stainless 2 into 1
Fast back lucky Dave's seat
relocated gauges
I would like some mid controls
Road King:
Performance shocks
led bar
Beringer brake upgrade
fxr division bars
But carbon fiber rims
Never was a fan of t-bars on a King. Personal preference of course. That's a good looking Glide but far from what I would consider "performance" numbers are going to be negligible over what a stock bike puts out.
