Hey guys. Got my bike back from the tuner yesterday. Details below.
Has anyone done the cvo ignition delete? I am going to change my speedo from the Dakota Digital gauge, to the Koso gauge that integrates into my Thrashin risers.
The question is, what do I do with the stock speedo spot? Anyone done this yet? Assuming I would need a new dash. Rendering the ignition useless, which is fine. Just unsure of the process for that. If youve done it, lmk.

I think at that point its okay to accept that the bike you want isnt necessarily the fastest or highest performing bike, but instead the one that you are happiest riding/feel fits the aesthetic you want the most.

Looking to do a thrashin bar and riser set up, are those the 9.5 pullback risers with a high bend bar, or is that a different bar?
Thanks in advance,
Anthony
Hey, just seeing this. Yep, you are correct. This is the 9.5 pullbacks and the high bend bar. Love it. I actually have the 1" riser extensions from Thrashin as well that I will be installing this winter. Bike used to have 16" apes. I will never go back. It really changes the way this rides. Seemingly cuts the weight of the bike in half while riding or even slow speed maneuvers. Can't recommend this setup enough. I actually eliminated my speedometer in the stock location and installed the Koso gauge on the risers. Looks stock and I love it.

Bars can have a huge impact on feel but if you really want to improve it all, give some mid controls a try. They turn the bike from a couch into a bagged streetfighter

Thanks for confirming dude, thats actually the set up im going with, the 9.5 with the high bend. Going from 14" spearhead apes myself.

You're not wrong. While not the most "mids" setup there is, I went with the Arlen Ness mids, because I already had my full length HPi. Took a min to get used to, but cant see myself going back. I am 5'8 so the forward floorboards typically meant I would slouch within minutes. Sometimes even unknowingly. Now, its like I am in a chair. I love it. And the handling is even that much better.
