Hahah I guess I could’ve googled it as well. That makes sense seeing it now for sure.

I hear you about the trailer. Wife and I thought camping would be cool (covid) and would only buy a camper if we could bring the bike too. It works out. When we use it. Hahaha. Thanks man! Going to look at those dash’s now!

All jokes aside, I'd love to have a toy hauler. The wife and I each have a bike and we wouldn't want to travel without them. The reality is, I have one kid about to graduate and go to college, but I still have another starting her first year of high school this next year. She's a leach.

I am anxious to see what you come up with.

Well guys.... I'm out. Sold off the glide and building my pan america into a street performance variant.

16" tbars
New top tree
Longer clutch cable
Barnett clutch
Ohlins front and rear
Fuel moto tune
Power vision
My machinist power tbar vision holder
Dymag rims so 17" front and rear
120 front, 200 rear tire
Leather pros saddle bags
New mirrors
Lots of carbon fiber
harley quick shifter

For those who have ridden a pan america, I'm telling you a street version is the way to go... forget that offroad crap... mine is now tuned makes 170hp, goes 165mph and revs to 10k rpm... it's a total club bike bruiser with the right stuff put on it

For now I got a saddleman seat and did the ohlins suspension.. it lifted the bike 1" or so front and rear. Also got rid of the bear trap foot pegs and put on round pegs so it's actual mid controls

16" bars, top tree, new gold chain and Barnett clutch install next week. Mid may I get my one off leather pros brackets delivered.

Could not be more excited. New age is coming guys... pan america is where it's at.

If you dont like the non traditional looks.... remember the road glide was once "non traditional" and look where it is today

go buy yourself one and jump into the new age of performance oriented Harleys.

Hit 155 mph yesterday.. 4th gear wheelies like a champ.

It is very nice and wouldn't mind having one to go with the many HDs I have now. As I live deep in the woods, I would keepnit as off road as possible.

But can't ever see this ever replacing the gildes and or ever going any father than it already has, other than a very few rare as yourself.

I do however, like when someone does their own thing and doesn't just follow the crowd, as you have done a great job making it your machine!👍

Who knows, if we were tight and rode together maybe I would see the light and do the same, doubt it, but who knows as "power" does strange things to a man. 🤦

I was once stuck on Shovelheads and below and was never moving up as these were real "machines".

Now fast fwd 10 years and sad to say that I have a shop FULL of Shovels, 2 evos and 1 Pan, ALL are neglected. Most would take a few hrs and a battery be ready to ride from sitting not to mention how old the tires are. ... 😱

Yeah man. I hear yeah. I have been throughb20+ bikes over the years. My oldest was a kick only 78 shovel. Bikes cone and go and I have others in the shed currently too.

For a "performance" thing. These pan americas a about half the weight, have saddlebags, and aftermarket companies starting to catch up on go fast parts.

Road glides are great and I have owned 3 of them .

Who knows. Maybe soon a new genre of sport touring or pan america with actually take over the T sport sector as its hangs down better in every category. I just doesn't look harkey enough to people so I think that's the draw back, but as soon as you ride one all that parking lot bad *** thing disappedisappears

I pulled the trigger on a Screamin' Eagle 96" to 103" Stage II Big Bore kit which comes with the SE255 cams and heavy duty clutch spring. The bottom end was completely rebuilt at the same time and I had already upgraded to the Screamin' Eagle Compensator a few years ago so this machine should be rock-solid and reliable for a long time yet. Other little odds and ends included adjustable pushrods and Screamin' Eagle phat spark plug wires just because I like the red ones. The motor was tuned with a PowerVision map and I'm pretty happy with the results eventhough this isn't a crazy horsepower/torque monster compared to what other guys are doing in this thread. Overall, the big bore kit is definitely a noticeable difference in power compared to the stock 96" but I'm only breaking it in right now so I haven't really been too hard on it yet. Also, I've been slacking on upgrading the lighting but everything has now been changed over to LED.
