Coming from a pretty nicely setup 2008 I blew up, just got a new 2018 RGS with a stage 3 kit.
Ill probably keep it simple since its my road bike and I have my performance FXR as the real toy.... but Ill definitely put my 13 JRI shocks on, a smaller front fender, and change the bars. Ill ride it a bit to see if the front suspension needs help.
might go with the FXR division motorwitch bars instead of dealing with relocating the gauges and all that again...or the bungking risers that go around. I hate not being able to see them.
Also curious if anyone here is running the BBC FXR lowers with stock floorboards. Ive only seen them with mid controls.
I plan to do some graphics on it so more space for paint would be nice. That, or the CVO "fairing spoiler"
I did talk to Kevin about this. He said you can do it, just have to flair the bottoms a little to getvarpubd thr nose of floor board

How tall is the factory riser on a road glide?
I loved my 14" tbars, but probably going to use FXR motorwitch apes so I dont need to mess with the gauges.
Are 14" tbars the equivalent to 12" Apes?

I got 12 Motorwitch bars on my 15RGS. Id say they are the equivalent of 12 Apes. Any taller of a FXR bar and your gonna need to extend the wires just like you would with Apes over 12
