OMG! AFTER ALMOST WEEKS...I FINALLY FINISHED MY SUSPENSION UPGRADE PROJECT!! After the fiasco with the fork rebuild kit yesterday. I was able to finish this morning. I installed the Suspension Technologies drop in cartridges and changed the sliders and cow bells to black. It was a pretty straight forward install minus forgetting to put a piece in on one of the shock. So I had to drain the oil and take it apart and put it back together. haha....Unfortunately I didn't get to ride it to work. I will test ride it tomorrow to make sure it's all put together right and tight. Funny not funny. And will post up a full review to the best of my knowledge after my first big ride to get a good feel for them. I gotta be honest, when I got this bike two years ago, I had a performance bagger in mind, and it's finally coming together. I'm really starting to love the look of this bike after blacking everything out. I can hardly wait to ride it with these new cartridges to see how it handles. Unfortunately I don't have a good "before" picture. Now all I need is a shorty fender. Really like the carbon fiber, but not for almost 5 bills. Seriously thinking about having my fabricator buddy hack off my stock fender and vinyl wrap it. Thoughts????? What's the worst that would happen? I'd have to buy a new one? LOL

Bike is looking good. Do you have Instagram? Below is a pic of my RG with a shorty carbon fiber fender, the FXR side covers and TBR 2 into 1 Pipe. Already ordered the part to remove the mullet.

Looks good Gartec. I like that tec-flex stuff. Used it a lot on my RG. I usually try to put a 1" piece of heat shrink over the end to keep things in place.

That is a good idea, will keep the ends from spreading out.
