What a transformation Gartec. Those alloy art turn signals are SICK! Just not sure I'm willing to fork out that much for them. Maybe down the road. You make we want to post my before and after pics. I just need to take some good "after" pics out in the sun and all cleaned up. It's awesome to finally see how you imagined something come to fruition. And over the course of the build things change with how you initially envisioned the bike to look. All this after starting this thread long ago. hahaha!

Lets see more pictures people.

Thanks man. Slow process but I like the way it's turning out.

Needs :
cam
mids
Chain drive
Front fender
Paint the tank
Big bear fxrt lower fairing
Misc.. powdercoat
Upgraded rotors.

Then I'll leave it alone as far as money is concerned. So couple more grand when the time is right.

Yep. It's never ending. I think this winter I'm gong to do Engine work as well. Not sure what yet. But also chain drive. I'm currently looking for front fenders too. I didn't like all the chrome, so I started with doing a lot of powder coating first. YA...i know it's not "performance" per say, but it makes the bike look mean I think.

Initial review of the new Suspension Techologies fork cartridges.....
I rode the scoot to and from work yesterday and again to work today. Yesterday I wanted to make sure nothing fell apart, so I rode a little conservative. HAHA...on the way home this morning it was a little different, and on the way to work today was even more aggressive. LOL! I get to ride a stretch of road that's about 3-4 miles of some minor twists and turns. So today I put it to the test. First, the brake dive is virtually nonexistent. Right out of my drive way I wanted to test the dive, so I slammed on my brakes. Usually I'd end up sliding forward a little, but with the new cartridges, I didn't. Then I get to the twisties today. I had to pass a slow car on a double yellow so I'd have an open road, but you gotta do what you gotta do. The bike definitely handles much better. It feels A LOT more stable and feels like it sticks. Doesn't feel like the front end wants to hop out from under me. I must say, they are definitely more "stiff". Unless there's a "break in" period. Because as of right now, with two short rides in, they aren't very plush. Which isn't what I was looking for anyway. I wanted a better handling bike. I think I'm going to adjust the rears a little to get a little more "comfort" out of it.

Overall, my initial thought is that I really like them. Anything is better than stock though, right? I'm excited to see what happens when/if these get past a "break-in" period. I'm going to call the company and ask them.

As for installation goes. These are pretty much a drop in cartridge. It was pretty straight forward. I'm no motorcycle mechanic, but I can change my own oil, I did my bars on both bikes I've had and misc other things. I'm not afraid to try new things, I'm pretty mechanically incline. If you can do your bars, you can do these cartridges. The website had a video (which I used and followed along) and the instructions included were actually very well written. As for customer service, I had to call them for something and in the middle of leaving a message, the owner picked up the phone and was extremely helpful.

I thought to myself after I'd already started the project, "I should've taken pictures." HAHA

I'll be posting some before and after Pics of mine soon. She needs a bath.

Where did you source this photo from? I am in the process of installing the Ohlins set with the remote reservoir and am having a hard time locating an acceptable spot for the reservoir. Is there a set of photos on this bike?
Thanks,

Thanks,

what have you looked at so far?
I run BBP mounts, but if I did it over again, I would run the legends suspensions mounts.

If you have the 357's you can mount them to the front crash bar.

take a look at Big bear performance, Kraus, Kruesi originals or legends (mounts)

I did see most of those, but another $400 was not appealing after the purchase of the new front/rear suspension. I ended up making mounting brackets out of aluminum angle.

Well I was just gonna do a 2-1 pipe. But then it needs a tune. So I might as well do a cam. And if I’m in there I might as well do an oil pump and lifters and blah blah blah...whoops! Lol. Adding some more horsepower next week, and it’ll actually sound like a Harley finally. Front suspension this winter, rotors once these wear/warp and that “should” be “done”...lol.

Thanks,
I can't recall honestly. I typed in "performance bagger" in my search bar and scrolled through the pictures.
