I'm surprised Fuel Moto wasn't able to help? I have the same setup and had thought about picking up an extra element so I could just clean and have one ready to swap. Its their product you'd think they would be able to supply you with the filter or at least the model/brand of filter.

I`m not sure about the K&N. Indeed, it maybe an Arlen Ness. I don`t know - well, nobody knows.

This is, where we come to the point.
Fuel Moto says: "... they have not and do not carry an air filter with the depth of 3 in."...
But I swear to god, that the Power Package - shipped to me by FM seven years ago - contained a filter this size and mounting studs, which perfectly fit only for a 3 in. filter element.
I have never ever changed my setup in any way!
Now, it`s going to turn into a detective story.

Use the k and n 3984, and use longer screws.

Search for 3 in. filter element was not successfull.
I will ask, if Fuel Moto sells shorter mounting studs to fit their 2.5 in. filter.
Thanks for your input.
