Use some zip ties and secure it to the other cables. Problem solved.

Not sure what that connector is... do you have aftermarket electrical accessories?

I'm gonna bet the connector half, under that blue tape, is cracked.... It should be fixed properly because if cracked, it will not be water resistant...

Using extra zip ties, tape, and/or heat shrink could fix it for years.... but I like to fix things proper... gives me peace of mind...

In any case, you can see the release tab facing outward. I'd separate it, check the possible broken half. Probably even turn on the bike to see if it is obvious what it goes to...

As mentioned, it would be pretty easy to switch out the pins to the bottom half of a new, good connector....

Good luck on the fix...

Confirm that it is latched, and ride.
I would not worry about it.

I have the same wire connector hanging in the wind on my bike. The plastic piece that secured the connector to the neck broke and now it dangles. I see it going down the road so I’m going to zip tie it up as well. I don’t have the blue tape on mine.

We can't see whether or not the male and female end are securely connected, because of the blue tape. Take the tape off and take another pic.

If nothing else, take the connector out of the picture. ..remove it from the loom and solder/shrink tube the wires together. Might not be the most design solution but it will be solid and not noticeable.

This is the offending connector. When I took the tape off it had separated but I put it back together for this picture. Instead of using tape this time I am going to cable tie across the plastic clip parts - hopefully that will keep it from separating...
