Default Khromewerks 10" bobber bagger bars

Does anyone have experience with these? I am looking at a set. For $95 They have really good reviews. Just curious if anyone here has used them. Also wondering if stock cables and lines worked for a 13 Limited .
Thanks

I just installed 10" KST Mayhem Baggers on my 2010 Street Glide which has a small spike in the bars and I didn't need any extensions.

I haven't used those bars, but I have their touring bars on my RG & have used their exhaust on 2 of my bikes, their quality is very good, made in MN, the good old USA!

The wiring is the hardest thing. If you can get someone to wire the bars I'd pay but with some tips you can do it.

Getting to the bars requires removing some items. Not a big deal, just keep your screws and order of pieces straight. Wiring requires microsurgery. You need to disassemble the plug connectors for the left controls, right controls, throttle control. Basically you need to get the plugs down to pins only. Make sure you write down every color in every position and every stripe with the wire and spend extra time making sure it goes back together right. Plenty of help online for accomplishing this. The hardest part is feeding all the wires through the bars. I cut off the plastic wire wrap. Then you should shrink wrap the wires so its protected wiring with a slimmer profile. Dont use string or that wimpy chain, they all broke on me. I used small cable which worked great. Electrical tape the cable to the wiring like crazy and use some sort of lube inside the bars and on the wiring. You should then be able to feed the wires into the bars at the same time as pulling. Be careful not to pull too hard or you'll possible damage wires or pull the cable off the wires. Once the wire is through reassemble the plugs and use some pliers to carefully straighten any plugs that may have been damaged in the process. When you put it back on the bike the plugs will no longer be able to mount in stock locations because you have less wires. Find a nice home and wire tie it in. Before tightening down the bars sit on the bike and make sure you put them where they are comfortable. A very challenging job for my old eyes but probably the best upgrade I've done. Wasn't sure it would be worth it but it was.

This was my winter project 2 years ago. I installed these exact bars (1.25" version) on my 2012 UC. Took my time and ran all wiring internally. Do yourself a favour and get rid of the stock twist grip sensor. Take the advice of many here and get yourself the Screamin Eagle version (32310-08). I was able to re-route all the wiring so no extensions...tight but works. I'm thinking of heated grips and may end up adding extensions at that point...just to give a bit more play in all the wiring. Adjusted the stock brake line to fit...no problem. I did end up using a longer clutch cable as I wanted it through the hole in the fairing in it's stock location. Stock cable re-routed works...but tight.

As far as the bars themselves...love them!! Got my hands up a bit higher and very comfortable. I'm sure 12's or 14's would be even better but I didn't want to go up above the batwing...it's cold here in the north in spring & fall (hence the possible heated grips). The bars are also wider which is great but I think the best feature of the Bobber Bagger Bars is the "flatter" wrist angle...so much more natural & comfortable...for me anyway.

The quality & chrome of mine is very good! By the way...grab them at that price...that's a fantastic price. I paid over $200 for mine and worth every penny!

Thank you for the information. Just curious what is the difference between the twist grip sensors?

Stock grip has a little green connector that can cause issues, the 32310-08 does not. Rather, it has straight wiring.

Good to know. thank you. I will hopefully be able to start in the next week or 2. Just need it to be above 0 degrees before I start. I only have a small heater for the garage.
