painting inner fairing
I want to paint my inner fairing flat black. How? is it a dulling additive for the clearcoat? or a special paint. I'm planning on using Dupont paint.
Also any idea of costs?
I need red, 1/2 pint-
red activator?
clear-
clear activator?
black 1/2 pint-
clear 'dulling' additive?-
I know this has been asked before but couldn't find it- anyone know the link? please send

Paint co dont recommend putting a flatting agent in there clear. Some co make a flat black, I dont know about dupont. Red is the most expensive color, you will have to go to a paint store by your house for prices. If you are going thru all the trouble of painting inner fairing why not paint it color of bike ?

- I just thought a flat black would look more 'stock' than the red.
- It currently is black gelcoat, but needs some paint covering I believe.
