I know there are other conversations in other forums on this topic. I have browsed hundreds of post and I still can't find what I am looking for. I just sold my boat (THANK GOD ITS OVER! THE SUCKING SOUND HAS LEFT MY WALLET!) (I WILL NEVER COMPLAIN AGAIN NEXT TIME MY HARLEY DEALER TELLS ME I HAVE A $500+ BILL FOR MAINTENANCE!) and decided to buy a new bike. I'm a long time rider, second time Harley owner. The bike I Decided on this time is a 2018 Street Glide Special Edition Twisted Cherry. I pick it up next week and for the life of me I can't find a decent pair of running lights. My Last bike was a 2015 Ultra Limited and I loved the DayMakers. I plan on adding a 8700 EVO 2 for a headlight.
What I am looking for is something thats not only stylish but does not take away from the sleekness of the bike. I want to keep the area on the fairing and around the turn signal lights clear. Possible mounting points could include either the lower front forks or somewhere on the crash bar. I prefer they are LED and illuminate brightly the ground immediately in front of the tire and forward.
Any links pictures, ideas or suggestions?

I went through this same thought process. Wound up getting the Custom Dynamics Bullet Rings on the front turn signals and a good LED headlight. Those Bullet Rings are surprisingly bright. I have better visibility with the headlight, and the bike is far more visible from the front as well. I have been told several times by riders who were in front of me that the bike is highly visible. I’m planning to add the CD lighted windshield trim this spring.
I snagged a set of LED lights for my RGS from a sponsor, DK Customs. Have had them a couple months now but have yet to get them installed. The price was very right but can't remember just what I paid.
For the headlight, check Hogsworkz LED headlight with or without halo ring. I have the Hogsworkz Halomaker headlight + passing lamps and they're awesome.

I know this sounds like a dumb question. However, if you substitute the turn signals for LEDs then are turn signals still visible from the front? How does the signaling work?John
So far there are two recommendations I like. I also stumbled across the CIRO 3D FANG setup and that looked real easy to do. Anyone have experience with these? So in your opinions not only do these lights enhance visibility to others but do the provide enough usable light that can replace the need for fog/running lights on pitch dark winding roads at night?
