I've been to the most recent show in New York; however, I'm reluctant to compare the NY show with one in any other city. Though the shows seem to be held in major cities and theoretically should be very similar, I'm not certain they are. The NY show was pretty good. A word of advice: since it appears you will be in the market for a specific helmet, don't settle on the first vendor you come across. If there is any product which I would consider over-represented at the show [at least in NY], it is helmets. Good luck.
I live 2 hours south of Rosemont so I have a rough ride ahead of me. If tomorrow looks too dangerous, I may just go Saturday. My parents live 20 minutes from the show so I have somewhere to stay the weekend due to the weather. I'm hoping to gut it out on Friday, the weather should make the show less crowded haha

I'm not that far, sounds like your ride may be a problem.
I go every year. I love to people watch. I hate the parking/fee, but at least it's all enclosed. Wish they had free motorcycle parking like other shows. I ride all winter - BUT not tomorrow Just had hernia surgery 2 weeks ago so maybe stay home this year. Don't really have anything to buy.
All in all, it's a great show especially during the winter.
I don't know if I'll buy anything, but I can't go every year. Every 3d or 4th year is all I can do, when my annual skiplane weekend with friends doesn't conflict.
Driveway's done, traffic looks OK, I'm heading over after a shower, probably get there about 1:30. A couple hours there ought to be good enough for me before I head home.
