I'm going to the show again just as I have done in the last 5 years. It's a good show and enjoyable during the cold days of February in Chicago. Some worthwhile seminars to attend and plenty of new products from vendors there too. 5 years ago I bought my J&S jack there at a great "show price", loaded it into my truck and drove it home....saved a lot of $$. It's just a great way to sit on a wide variety of machines, caht with company reps, while at the same time seeing a lot of "characters" dressed in their "finest" leather club wear.....LOL. Since its a "selling show" deals can be made at some displays so IF you're looking to buy it's a good place to go. ....and like I said, what else are you doing on a winter weekend in Chicago?.....see ya there!

I went 2 years ago in Minneapolis. It was great. If you are in the market for items that you would like to feel out before buying it is the place to be.

Things like seats. You can get your hands on it, and in many cases they have setups so you can sit on a demo seat, before you shell out any cash.

show in St Charles last week was lame. Not going to that swap meet thing again. Custom Bikes? There was a suzuki there wrapped in copper everyone was around and it was a POS IMO. Had plumbing fittings for handlebars. Looked like someone took a sheet of copper and half assed formed it around heads. lol

Haven't missed one in over 40 years. Up until 3yrs ago seemed to be declining a little every year past 2005 but last couple have seemed to have gotten better. I'll be there at any rate.

Planning to go this year to chat with the trailer venders to narrow down what I might buy. Hope they are in the mood to deal!

We have had good luck getting helmets because you are able to try different ones/brands on to see what fits best.

Usually go to Rosemont, it’s a good show with plenty of vendors like was said before.
Only advice I can give is go early because by noon or 1 o’clock you can hardly move.
Good time though

we go to the rosemont show every year, most major vendors are there so if you’re looking for something in particular its nice to be able to compare and speak to reps all in one place. we always go the first day a friday, most people are working and its not too crowded the . saturday and sunday are a zoo there!

I went to the MN show a few years ago. Was a decent show. Good way to spend a winter day. I also went to the show again this year but was a total let down. Seemed at least half the size that I remember from a few years ago. Talked to a vendor and he said that the show had been moved up a few months to make room for the super bowl and that at least half the vendors had not shown up.

I’ve got one too. Great helmet! Added a Sena unit to it for music, gps etc. and works like a charm in full or 3/4 mode.

Once you get accustomed to a full face or modular you'll never again wear a half helmet. At least that was my experience. I prefer my full face (modular) anytime over other options. Mine is a Shoei Neotech.

And for the show... I usually go every year here in Southern California. And I even get to ride there

It's a great place especially if you're in the market to buy accessories and such as many prices are better than you can find anywhere else.
