Completely understand. Family issues come up and sometimes we need to sell things, like the 2012 Shelby GT500 I had. Oh well, had fun with it while I had it, just like you did with your Chevelles!
You are a man who takes care of what he works hard for, I have total respect for that! I am the same way with my 2017 SGS, I wax every square inch of my bike including the frame rails underneath, I even polish the drain plug with mothers. Tank, fairing and bags get a complete wax once a week, overkill, probably, but I love it and it makes me happy to do it.
Yes sir, ride every day even if it's just around the block. 12,500 miles on the 2017 street glide and I have a 2015 BMW with 20k on it. No chrome on the beamer so it doesn't get near the cleaning attention. I bust my *** for everything I have so I make time to keep it like new. In 5 years if I choose to sell one of my bikes, trust me when I say, the potetional buyer will be over joyed to own it.
When I was young the bike was in the living room and clenining it took the place of watching the tv I didn’t have but now in my old age I save the cleaning energy for riding...
yep, front room was the place, warm and comfy.. but now, Trike won't fit thru the door
