Ok I figured out what I did. I only had put 2 qts of oil in not 3.5-4. Drained it and there was only 2qrts came out. I did not run it without oil whewww. That would be why I had oil presssure but fluctuated. All is good now. Could have done without the your stupid remarks but it was a stupid mistake so wth. Thanks to those who gave encouragement.
So you added 2 quarts but you think you forgot to put oil in? Pretty sure they take more than 2 quarts. Maybe come up with a little pre ride checklist for yourself, you know, gas, air, oil, the basics.
Your right, I reposted what I did. I made the mistake of only putting in 2 qts instead of 4,thats why when I added 2 arts it was full again. So it at least had 2qrts in it. Now its got new oil and properly filled. Too much of a hurry preparing for my trip to Arizona with bike and other toys.
It's cool. The only people that don't screw up occasionally are people that don't do anything. And glad to see you fess up. But you also gotta expect some shots in return. It's the nature of the beast.
Seems like the Bozo that owns the bike would have been smart enough to check the oil, huh?
There is a 'magical' little item called a "dipstick" that is used to check oil.
YOU need to familiarize yourself with it.
That is the problem with people that want to do maintenance.
They won't or aren't competent...........
One mistake in nearly 50 yrs of rebuilding and fixing my own stuff. Was in a hurry got side tracked and left out 2qrts. All is good. I never called you a bozo.
I am competent and accomplished in many things and I trust my own work.
I recently posted in another thread and the same applies here. We're human and we screw-up sometimes. Glad is wasn't an expensive screw-up for ya......I know first hand how depressing that can be.

I second that, nice to see a "fess up" and actually getting back to us with the fix. That's how we all learn. But regardless of what someone else said, 5W-20 oil is too thin.
