Says it doesn't fit my bike, any reason anybody can see as to why it wouldn't work? I use my phone for GPS sometimes if I'm heading somewhere unfamiliar. This would be handy.
I wonder what's holding it to the bike? I like the idea of the clear pouch. I went with a Fox Creek bag, I ran a power cord to it and just dump the phone inside the bag. The drawback though is I can't see the phone (GPS, texts, incoming calls, etc.) unless I mount it on the Ram x
I was mainly wanting to keep it in there to give some extra weather protection and still be visible. I'm not a fan of bar-mount phone holders at all. They just have never fit the bill for me. I'll call and see how it attaches and go from there. That particular bag would be nice. I can run a cord to/from it for music/charging, and run maps in landscape, I have no desire to see calls or txt though. I have an iPhone 6s+ so the screen would be plenty large. And mounted up high in the windshield, it would be easy to see without taking eyes completely off the road. Not to mention, it's pretty inexpensive.
Still digging on this one.... says basically it fits up to '95 model FLH. What's the difference in the center portion of the windshield and how it attaches vs the 96-13's? I haven't messed with an older touring bike that had a fairing since I can't remember when. I'm hoping it's just something minor and I can make it work, even if it means trimming on the back and/or cutting a slot for my center windshield screw.
I dont want the three pouch bags, I haven't seen any I like. The single pouch is simple and all I need. It would be nice to throw keys and a wallet in too, maybe a key fob.
That's the plan, didn't get a chance to yesterday and now it's the weekend, so......
Please post up if you find an answer. I've got the HD 3 pouch ones and they're just not big enough to be useful for much. If that single is big enough to hold a larger cell phone it would be perfect.

they claim the bag to be 10x4x2 and the clear front pocket to be 8x4. Should be able to be plenty useful. Dennis Kirk has it for about $36. Tempted to just order one and see. If it's going to be too much of a project, just send it back.
As for the windshield screw spacing. I can't really tell other than my bike has 3 screws and the older fairings have 5 it seems. If that's all the difference is, should be a simple deal.
