Default Windshield bag, Garmin Fairing mount, on EG

I have the fairing GPS mount and wondering if a windshield bag would fit or which one. Don't want anything very large or gaudy, but it would be convenient to put my ID when going on military bases and maybe keep change for toll roads on trips.

Maybe a hand grenade or two.

I have the same setup as you and would like to do the same thing the only ones I see that will work are a single center mounted bag or maybe the three pocket one hd sells that you can snap each bag off, take the one behind the gps mount off and you'd be left with the other two which I think would look kinda dumb. Hopefully someone will post up some pics for ya!

Default Windshield Bag

Cool lookin bike there, the HD Windshield bag will fit, the left bag is removable to make room for the GPS Mount. I modified the bag so I could leave it on. This is the mount for the Roadteck 665.

Here is the Zumo 550 with the same bag.

I don't care about gaudy, I just want it where I can see it without taken my eyes off the road that much. I mounted a plate to the inner fairing and mounted the GPS via a ram ball and adapter.

I use a kuryakyn fairing mount for my iPhone (music, gps, etc). I purchased the saddleman bag that has a detachable bag. So far so good for me. I dont think it looks that bad either, but I am more for function.

Robo74 and nivensid, what is the quality of the bags you bought? Looks like removing the left one may be the ticket.

Have the exact set-up nivensid has pictured....Zumo 550 with the HD windshield bag, left pouch removed. Have had it in place for about a year now and the bag holds up very well. Good quality, like the magnetic closures on the pouches.

I have the 660/665 mount. currently using Harley's two pocket fairing pouch, which I think HD discontinued this year (some dealers have them on the shelf). The GPS Mount instructions says it won't work. It does. When the GPS is in the mount, the left bag is less usable (the cover flap is pressed against the back of gps - put my ezpass in there). Have been thinking about the 3 pocket where the left pocket is removable that was previously posted. the old 2 pocket is 58928-08 and says "Does not fit with fairing mounted GPS units" - but it does.
