I'm having a hard time finding a windshield bag I like.
I had the tour master bag but I thought it was to big, also didn't like the magnetic snaps. Sold it and bought the Harley bag and I didn't care for the shape lines, the outaide pockets weren't even big enough to hold my sunglasses.
Can anyone recommend a bag. I'd really like to spend less then $80 at this point. Am I just being to picky?
I got the Willie & Max Two Pocket Windshield Bag from JP, needed something I can use with Apes on my Ultra, love the look and fits all I need, iphone in one, ezpass garage door opener and flashlight in the other...
those magnetic snaps on my tour master are terrible but I like the layout and the room so I keep messing with them. I have often thought of gluing some Velcro strips on or a larger magnet and steel strip. About 90% of the time I'm riding with them unsnapped and have never had anything fly out of there or get wet because the snaps weren't secured.
I have Tbags, there ok. I was considering the HD 3 pouch, my friend has one on his Street Glide he just bought and loves it. The Tbag does well to hold my iPhone in the center and keys in the one outer one, not enough room in the outer pocket.
Tbag has two sizes, same profile, the larger one is twice as deep.the smaller one works for me but the larger one looks like there is room for sunglasses in the side pockets
I wanted something that would hold my sunglasses/glasses as I interchanged them during the day. The largest center pouch will hold my flat regular glasses without a problem, but isn't deep enough to hold my curved sunglasses.
If I keep my cell phone in it, the phone overheats in the sunlight and won't work when I need it.
I use the tbag- I bought it used from another rider ( cheep)- the side pockets are small- but work for me, I use for sunscreen, earplugs and lip balm- doo rag, ipod nano.
the center pocket will hold a phone or whatever.
I wear self tinting prescription glasses- so I don;t even own sunglasses anymore
the bottom of the bag will scuff up the top of the dash- line it with tape- I used loop velcro cut to shape.
the rearside of the tbag is easy on the windscreen and with a full size windscreen looks like a cut down dark tint from a distance.
and I like the way it follows the contours of the dash
My riding Pal has a HD 3 pocket- it has scuffed the heck out of the windscreen- and looks crap. big a bulky
but he likes the bigger 3 pockets.
so it comes done to what you need, what you want to look at
