Wonder when they changed it? Mine has 3 bolts and a front to rear bar that connects the front and rear of the air cleaner that says "Screamin Eagle" on it.

Slather that pupply with super glue? When I tried to take mine apart (even though it's a different model) when I took the bolts out, I couldn't get it apart because it was glued on.
Yeah theres two different models, one comes with the fancier air filter with the bracket connecting the front and back plate.
OP, I have the same as yours and the same exact thing happened, like I said earlier. Super glue may work for a while but it dries hard and probably wont withstand the heat and vibrations. Over time the super glue will crack and flake apart.
Thats why I used the high temp JB Weld. I think the rubber on the filter just sucks at sticking to that 2 sided sticky gasket in the metal trim. I just cleaned it, and the filter, then spread the JB Weld around the gasket. Pressed it into place and let it cure. Put some weight on it to keep the JB Weld from expanding (since it heats up from mixing the two ingredients) and pushing the trim away.
Mine is rock solid now and it should never come apart.
