Engine - 3-3 1/2 qts
Trans - 1 qt
Primary - 38 oz approx, but it is supposed to just touch the diaphragm

Owners manual is a start. I highly recommend the factory service manual and the parts manual. Too much good info in those to let go by. Plus you'll save yourself the wrath of some by asking questions that are easy to locate in the manual!!!

Not only easy but accurate to your bike.
Most on here try to help and there's a lot of accurate info. But, the FSM is the bible for your bike and will give you the correct, HD approved info.
