I have them on mu 09 Road King. Not much louder than stock at idle but they have a decent bark when you roll on the throttle. I run 75 -80 on the highway and they are not so loud that it becomes annoying.

while they are off the bike, pull the baffle out and check the packing. Better to do it now than have to do it later with the pipes on the bike.

When removing the baffles, it is a good idea to spray lots of WD40 on the baffles and let sit. Warm the baffles up for 10 minutes. Oh, and when removing the baffles, only rotate in one direction while pulling. Yeah, ask me how I know.

But I have had two sets of Rush tubes. The chrome has been flawless and I received many a compliment on the sound. Mine could be relatively quiet when sneaking out of the neighborhood but woke up when on the throttle.

Every now and then you come across a piece of information that, on the surface, seems minor but is actually worth it's weight in gold. This is one of those pieces of information. Don't overlook it.

it doesn't matter what direction you twist, it's not threaded. Twist which ever way you get more torque. If you have sprayed it with WD-40, you shouldn't need to fight with it too much. But they are snug, so you'll need some muscle.

If it wont budge, use a narrorw piece of wood or handle of favorite shovel and ram from inlet side into cross member of baffle. This will pop it out easier
