Appreciate the help everybody. Picked a lot of brains through private message and got some really good information. Doesn't matter how experienced or intelligent you are, there is always somebody who's better informed... A professor of mine told me that once years ago and it's always stuck. Think the Khrome Werks 1" bobber bagger 10" rise is the winner. I plan on running the harness externally anyway so not worried about dimension of the bars. Re-routing the clutch will be easy enough and went with the 10" rise over the 8's. The biggest seller was the sweep. My wrists/hands have taken extreme abuse for years. Finally had serious corrective surgery and I don't want to throw that away. 5" cut and 25 stitches on just one hand. Sure as hell not giving up riding lol But couldn't even take my little boy fishing. So appreciate all the input from everybody. Ordered the bars and once I'm healed will be installing them. There are plenty of good articles on here with some fantastic instructions.

I rode with stock bars for the first season I got bike. Hated them, they were very uncomfortable on my wrists, shoulders and back. First upgrade I did was 10" Yaffe's. I wanted to stay inside the fairing for looks wise, thought they looked amazing and quality was great. Price was a little steep and my indy had a bitch of a time wiring them up. Still to this day one of my favorite upgrades.

Ya, I think the 10" will be the perfect height for me. Close my eyes and put the arms out, i'm just about even with the windshield. Actually about an inch low, so the 10's will work. I find it amazing that after all of these years companies still produce crappy stock bars. Whether on purpose (to generate more sales later) or just bad engineering. I've never once sat down on a bike and purposely twisted my wrists into extreme angles and said "yep, that's the spot...can't feel a thing and it's making the nerves dance like christmas lights".

I'm looking at going with the yaffe bars. They look amazing. They look wide in this picture. They supposed to be 34 inches wide. Are they out wider than the fairing? Or is it just the picture? Thanks
