Could one of you post pictures of the beam from the headlight, and from the passing light projected on a wall or door? Beam shape has been one of the major criticisms of the Sun Pie lights. Perhaps they have fixed it now. OR, can you compare beam shape of your old lights vs the Sun Pies. A bright horizontal bar with a crisp upper cutoff is the desired pattern from both the headlight and passing lights.
I installed these today. I had to grind off about 3/16" from one of the three tabs(headlightlight adjustment). Then I had to cut and slice the wires on both passing lamps. Mine was not not a plug-n-play. Took me about an hour. I wonder if I ordered the wrong kit?

and I forgot to mention tat my high and low beams are the opposite. I'm not gonna cut and splice.....I can live with my blue high beam light being low beam
I installed the sunpie lights on a 2008 ultra. The only thing I had to do was put a longer screw in the headlight trim.

A number of people mention that they needed a longer screw, buy no one has mentioned the size they used. The original screw seems to be a short (1/4") stainless steel screw. What is the fastener size and thread pitch that you installed?

The stock fastener (headlight trim ring screw) is a HD 67718-60A, which is a 8-14x1/2 self tapping Phillips head
The stock Sunpie fastener is: Stainless Steel Pan Head Phillips M5-0.8x6
I replaced it with a Stainless Steel Pan Head Phillips M5-0.8x10
