Default HELP with Zeppelin install

Rec'vd my Road Air Zeppelin today. Installed the driver backrest hardware and passenger backrest. I must be doing something wrong because I can not get the seat to go far enough down to install the back screw, it's lacking about inch or so. I have the seat as far forward as it will go and still no luck. Can anyone here lead me to what I might try to get it to fit or what I might be doing wrong.

Can't believe this seat is causing me so much pain....guess not enough working parts!

Thanks,

Default RE: HELP with Zeppelin install

I have a Road Zep on my 07 Ultra. Initially the rear screw was a stretch. I had to go over the driver backrest and reroute the cable. I'd start with checking the backrest install, if it doesn't clearly fit into the formed cavity of the seat carcass it won't sit all the way down. Also check anything else you may have added. I added the module for the rear blinkers/brake lights which is under the seat, UNDER the backrest mount.
