Take a look at the Mustang, Used to have one that the bracket bolts under the seat, adjustable up and down, back and forth, make sure to get the one that bolts on, Dennis Kirk has em i believe
Im going to demo some of the seats before ordering a backrest. Not sure if I want a harley seat, or mustang etc. Also waiting to break the bike in a bit before the stage one, but ill do that before the 60 days. Today I ordered:
Black HD highway pegs with a 2in pull back
Rock something or other phone holder
battery tender lead and usb plug to run a phone charger up
finger bolt in black for the seat screw
LED daymaker headlight (so its under warranty)
Black passing lamp kit with LED inserts
black crash bar rear
saddlebag organizers
black headlight extension - Visor style
probably some little stuff im forgetting. I do also want to get some sort of detachable windscreen for longer days. Maybe a recurve or something. Gotta get someone to help measure me for it.
As for your list of mods, none of them are particularly hard to DIY. But, if you are looking to get them on the bike to have them covered under factory/extended warranty, I would have them do the lights, the ADJUSTABLE (if the stationary one, do it yourself) backrest, maaayyybe the slip-ons. The others you mentioned are very unlikely to need a warranty claim against them. You can save money by either ordering from boardtracker (as noted above) or installing yourself.
I recognize my home dealer OLD GLORY, really nice folks there! You should come to the HOG chapter meetings/rides. The may meeting is tomorrow (5/1).

OGHD it is! Im letting them do all of it, to be honest. Its been so long since I messed with anything on any of my cars, it just took me 2 hours to figure out the highway pegs, rokform mount, and getting the seat off to put the passenger grab strap under the seat and put a finger bolt where the rear seat phillips head was (in case i need to jump the bike without tools).
I definitely plan on checking out HOG stuff, I don't have many riding buddies in the state anymore. Weekdays are tough for me though, I commute into DC :yuck:
Im with you bud. Im plenty mechanically inclined, went to school for it and worked in a restoration shop for years etc. Still don't want to cut and splice into a new harness heh. I will end up going with the Evo 2 instead of the daymaker, just got to do some research and see if its a simple bolt on and P/P with the harness. Saved me a few hundred bucks, thanks guys
Here you go. I just ordered this, I went HD everything except the mufflers. Was not pleased to find out no plug and play adapter. I will splice this with the adapter that came with the Daymaker, but if you are using the JW Speaker, you are all set. Congrats on the new bike, great color. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
