You've got the "bullet-proof" low level indication - a sputtering engine. No need for light! Fuel injection has no petcock andno reserve, just an idiot light. Couldn't tell you. My gauge has been wacked out since day one! I am going on my second fuel sending unit in 3 wks on my new 07' RG. I put in 3 gallons after the light comes on. Almost 150 miles on the odometer. I don't get in a hurry to fuel when the light comes on anymore, and I worry about getting to casual about it. Nice buffer though.
