I dont know who else might be using the WheelDock EZ-Up center stand, but my 17 RGU is the second bike I have put one on. As much as I love them, I have a very slick floor in my shop, and sometimes it was questionable whether I was going to get off the stand before I ran out of room. I just kept sliding on the floor. Yesterday, I was in Harbor Freight, and noticed these self-adhesive floor tiles and it hit me they might just help me out. I bought two big ones for under the center stand, and one narrow one to serve as a feeler for when I needed to stop. I dont have a long-term report to give you, but for the maiden voyage, it was an absolute success. I even
gained enough traction to be able to use my little ol 29 inseam to push it off the stand.
i don’t push it off the stand . i just simply start the bike and move forward .
to put on the stand always kick out your side stand. then put your weight in the center stand . .just practice .
if my 167 lbs. *** can handle it, a heavier guys than me can do it like nothing
I guess I was trying to say that my floor is so slick, I CAN”T just drive off the stand. It just slides. These tiles have solved the problem, unless of course the adhesive on the tiles doesn’t hold!
