just to clarify...this is my normal shift range. when ripping on it I shift ~4200-4400 since the tw 222 torque peters out around that area.
thanks for the reply.
Gotcha. Was not trying to be a smart ***. I honestly felt if that's how you shift most the time, you'd be better off with what you have. Not a ton to be gained in TQ alone in a 110 kit vs a good stage 2 (your 222 counts as that) that is tuned correctly. I still think you're going to be a bit disappointed with just a monster TQ cam like the 570-2 in even a 110 kit. That being said, if we are spending your money, that's always fun too
A 110" kit with a CR 575 and mild head work would probably be a good place to start looking.
Get a good exhaust and mufflers with the CR-570 cam and you will get the torque you want. No need to upgrade engine displacement unless you really think you need it.
I've seen similar torque curves as one posted from Sheffer Performance with stock 103".
I'm looking torque, torque and more torque. I like to shift at ~3K.
thanks for the reply
Here is a 110 kit Cyclerama 570-2 Cams Stock Heads ,, Peak Torque @ 3k

Do you know any more info on the specs of this bike? CCP? Piston Compression? It's a 15 so ACRs are there, but this is an interesting combo... pretty sweet if it was tunable and could be run in 105 degree heat!!!!
Darren at Sheffer performance is on the tech forum frequently. All of his sheets that are posted are as good as it gets tune wise. I spoke to him before my build and its the reason I went with the cyclerama 575. Have S&S 106 kit, S&S oil pump, cam plate, lifters, pushrods and a Drago 2 pipe. Mine was tuned at H&D Cycle and it runs as it should. No problems at all, knock on wood.
This combo pulls hard right where I ride 2000 and up. I rarely hit 4500 if ever. I am extremely happy with it. I can't say enough about the Drago 2. Going down the interstate it is so mellow. Jump on it and it comes alive.
