This just happened today. My bike was sitting in the garage on the trickle changer. I unplugged the charger to move it to a new receptacle, when I plugged it back in, the headlight came on.
When I do the diag research, the BCM shows a b2132 error code. With the switch turn on to high beam, I can clear the code but the headlight stays on even when the ign switch is turned off. I turn it back on, the error code has returned. I am looking for some troubleshooting help. Thanks in advance.
+1 on what keithhu said about having a short. When I purchased my 09 Rocker the PO put blue leds all over the bike. He had the fuel tank off and when he replaced it he pinched the wire providing power from the fuse panel to the headlight switch causing a ground.
You can get wiring diagrams from Harley's web site. You just need your VIN.
