Hello. For those of you that have progressive monotubes in your bike, did you use one spacer or two per side? I’m about to do this to the bike and would like to do it once and done. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I’m 6’3 210lbs ride mostly two up with the wife. 2012 Road King Classic.
im 190# ....used one spacer .....rarely two up.........it still feels a little stiffer than it should.....but the dive is gone......and I dont know what I dont know......
Im 275 and I used 2 and it's a bit stiff but I was sooo tired of the dive... I will call it more compliant... If I was closer to 200 lbs I would use 1 spacer...
If you are doing the install yourself, you will find, like I did, the second time around is SO MUCH FASTER! I don't weigh what you do, but do plenty of 2-up riding and took one spacer out as I thought it was just a little too stiff when compared to my rear shocks and still, one spacer eliminated the front end dive like the OEMs had.
Absolutely use 2 or you'll be spending the time to do it again.
This is what I was wondering. If over time the springs would relax and not be so ‘stiff’. Anyone been riding them for a while, long enough to comment on whether they soften or not over time? Thanks again
I had them long enough to buy a set of Legend Axeo's . Dive is gone , stiffness is gone. Wish I had gone that route in the first place.
I understand that Motorcycle Metal sells a set that performs well also

If your goal is to simply get rid of the dive then one spacer. If your goal is a better ride then use another product.
