2000 EG Classic Fuel Warning Light
Okay, as far as I can tell I don't have this on my bike, but I've read a couple of things in the service/parts manuals that indicated otherwise. If I DO have it, I sure can't find it.
Anyone know for sure? And no, I haven't let it run out of gas just to find out for sure.
Jim
If the fuel in the tank gets to below 1 gallon or so the light will come on. It is on the tachometer and will glow like the sun on Mercury once it comes on.
If for some reason it does not come on, then the low fuel sensor might be bad. It is an easily replaceable module located in the fairing.
Outer fairing removal is required. IF YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW TO REMOVE THE FAIRING...SEARCH THIS SITE.
The modely cost 25$ or so....plug and play...one wire connector.
