I just put a Kuryakayn Fuel/Battery guage in my 2005 Road King Police bike and he Low fuel indicator light is on all the time and will not go off. Any one have any ideas on how to correct this problem?
Besides putting more gas in it? Sorry just had to say it. I had a similar problem when i changed to the LED fuel guage, just make sure all your connections on the bottom of the tank are seated properly.
I don't have my directions in front of me but yours should tell you to run a jumper wire. Same thing happened to me. If you need me to dig them up I probably can but it would be tonight. Or you could just snip the wire to put it out.
Look at the bright side, it now works opposite. When the low fuel light goes out it's time for gas.
I'd sure appreciate it if you could email my the directions for the jumper wire. I don't have the paperwork for the darn thing. thanks. My email is msulli5429@aol.com Thanks again
