Brand new Roadglide will not turn over. Purchased in the states, then shipping it overseas so unfortunately the nearest dealer is 2 hrs away. Original thoughts was the battery, due to the 2 months in transit. Battery registers at 11.5V then immediately drops to under 9V when trying to start.
-Placed it on a trickle charger for a couple of days, still did not start.
-Drove 2hrs to Harley and had the battery tested and charged and it held at 12.6V. Reinstalled, but it still did not start.
-I can hear the fuel pump kick in, so I assume that’s good.
-Drained and added fresh gas, still does not start.
-Tried to start with both key fobs present (to make sure no alarm issues), still did not start
If anyone has any other recommendations, then I’m all ears before I have to have this thing towed. I’ve tried to discuss this with the Harley dealer, but due to the language barriers, they just keep telling me to bring it in.
Thanks in advance
Joe

Personally I'd still suspect the battery.
Also, isn't there a code that bypasses/superceded the security? Have you tried that? Did it start before it was shipped? Also, I seem to recall they have a transport mode, are you sure it's out of that? Maybe disconnect the battery for a bit to let the bike reset and try again.
Sorry not to have anything more specific, mine's not nearly that new...
My initial thoughts, but after taking the battery to Harley and letting them test it, I ruled that out. Yes, there is a pin code that I can use, but it’s only needed when the bike doesn’t detect the key fobs.
-I’ll try and use just the pin code without the key fobs present.
As soon as you turn on the ignition with the key fobs present, it takes it out of transport mode.
Yes, it fired right up on the day of the shipment; rode it up to the ramps.
I’ll try your recommendation and provide an update.
Do you think you can pull the breather cover and see if it's getting fuel? Maybe squirt a little fuel in there and see if it starts. Just throwing things out there. Also could pull one of the plugs and see if it's getting spark?
