Wrong VIN for Fat Boy???

Default Wrong VIN for Fat Boy???
Can it be that a bike has a VIN starting with 1HD1***132Yxxxxxx which should be a Heritage Softail Classic but it looks like a Fat Boy, or does somebody converted a Heritage Softail Classic into a Fat Boy?
Anybody an idea if that can be a correct Fat Boy?

None of those models mentioned are touring models. So I'm pretty sure the VIN is 100% wrong.

Well that’s helpful.
I know that’s strange that a bike which looks like a Fatboy has a VIN for a Heritage Softail Classic

Post pics, we can tell whats going on. Remove the bags and put a stock front fatboy wheel on it and it looks like a fatboy.

I know I am new here but at some point everybody was. I actual own a triumph tiger 1050 and wanna elk it. A guy offered me a trade for his Harley. Now I try to figure out if his Harley is the real deal. He said it’s a 2002 Fatboy but according to the VIN it’s a Heritage Softail classic

Are you getting the VIN off the Title or FRAME? The part we need to see is 1HD1 ? ? ? 132Yxxxxxx
