Thumbs up Picked up new SGS. It's f-ing AMAZING!

Consider this a positive thread. I just rode my Iron one last time, 20 miles to the dealer where I traded it and picked up my new SGS. I waited 12 days for them to get everything installed on my signature, plus some more cosmetic items. Well worth it. This bike is absolutely incredible. The M8 raw power with the torque cam, the low rumble and throaty acceleration sounds from the Rinehart slimline duals, the cool look of the Yaffee bars, wind splitter, daymaker, and heavy breather, having actual storage space in the saddlebags. All awesome. (BTW: the HD saddlebags wall organizer looks very good inside the bags, and is really useful. They give you both a right and left so the high price seems less high. Great seat and suspension. I'm so much more comfortable than on my sporty. Bumps? what bumps?

If I had to single out one item that is "just ok" it would be the stage II Boom audio. I did the amp and the upgrade speakers, and they sound great at a standstill, or even during idle, but turn into a transistor radio on the highway. A second amp and speaker lids are on my winter mod list. I know there are some better aftermarket systems, but I just prefer HD stuff. Also, the shorty antenna looks cool, but receives barely any local stations. Glad I saved the original tall one. Navigating the audio screens takes a little getting used to as well. But all in all, I really love this bike. Can't wait to go far this weekend.

Can't w

Enjoy, in good health. Practice panic stops . Don't slam the rear brake. Avoid skidding with a controlled pressure.

Congratulations on the new ride. I can only imagine the difference going from a sporty to a touring rig.

Congrats, awesome lookin scoot.

Before you dump any more money into the boom stuff spend some time in the audio section. I put a JL audio amp and Arc moto's in the fairing for about half the cost of the boom and it will blow it away.

Put the original taller antenna on they are great at poking you in the eye in the garage.
